Customer service is about more than responding to a request. It is about the care, commitment and teamwork that go into supporting the people and businesses who rely on us.

From 5 to 9 October, CSquared marked Customer Service Week under the theme “The Extra Mile”. Across our markets, teams celebrated our customers and recognised the colleagues who contribute to their experience throughout the year.

Appreciating our customers

Throughout October, our Account Managers and Technical Teams are visiting customers across our markets to thank them for their continued trust and partnership.

These visits are an opportunity to connect, strengthen relationships and show our appreciation to the customers we serve.

The people behind the customer experience

Behind every customer interaction are colleagues working together to keep networks running, respond to challenges and support one another.

In his Customer Service Week message to employees, CSquared CEO Ian Paterson recognised the commitment this requires, particularly when things do not go according to plan.

As Ian shared:

“I appreciate how you keep showing up in those moments: sharing an update, seeing an issue through, or helping a colleague find a way forward.”

He also emphasised the importance of reliability:

“Every minute of uptime matters to the customers who rely on us, and I’m confident that together we’ll keep raising the bar.”

These words reflect what The Extra Mile means at CSquared: the everyday actions, persistence and teamwork that contribute to the service our customers receive.

Recognising those who go the extra mile

As part of the celebrations, CSquared introduced an internal Extra Mile Wall, giving employees an opportunity to recognise colleagues who have gone above and beyond in supporting customers, fellow employees or the business.

The week concluded with a staff appreciation celebration, recognising the contributions of teams across the organisation.

While Customer Service Week gives us an opportunity to celebrate, the commitment to our customers continues throughout the year.
